PEN USA Emerging Voices 2010
- to This is a past program
Emerging Voices is a literary fellowship program that aims to provide new writers, who lack access, with the tools they will need to launch a professional writing career. Over the course of one year, each Emerging Voices fellow participates in: a professional mentorship; hosted Q & A evenings with prominent local authors; a series of Master classes focused on genre; and two public readings. The fellowship includes a $1,000 stipend. The five recipients of the 2010 Emerging Voices fellowships are Monica Carter, Natashia Deon, Lorene Garrett, Simone Kang, and Bev Magennis.
Please join us in celebrating the completion of their program. For more information regarding the Emerging Voices Fellowship please visit PEN USA at www.penusa.org.
Public programs are made possible, in part, by a major gift from Ann and Jerry Moss.
Additional support is provided by Bronya and Andrew Galef, Good Works Foundation and Laura Donnelly, an anonymous donor, the Hammer Programs Committee, and Susan and Leonard Nimoy.
