
Turiya Rising: The Theta Vibrations of A C Turiyasangitananda
Step into the galleries of Alice Coltrane, Monument Eternal every Sunday for special performances on a stage designed for the exhibition by artist GeoVanna Gonzalez. Each performance is presented in celebration of Coltrane’s legacy as a musical innovator and as an ode to her Sunday services at the Sai Anantam Ashram.
This event takes place inside of the galleries, and seating is strictly limited. To attend this performance, tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis. Ticket line will queue outside of the Alice Coltrane galleries starting at 4PM. Entry is not guaranteed.
Bio
Radha Botofasina, an acclaimed Afro-Cuban American harpist, pianist, vocalist, and music producer from Brooklyn, New York, has dedicated her life to creating and sharing music that uplifts and unites. Mentored by the legendary Alice Coltrane, Radha performed on four of Coltrane's sacred music albums (Divine Songs, Infinite Chants, Glorious Chants, Sacred Language of Ascension). She has played internationally, including leading a Peace and Unity concert in the Dominican Republic with members of the National Symphony Orchestra.
With 13 albums to her name—including Life in God, Carry On (a Top 25 Roots album in 2022), and the forthcoming On the Shoulders of Ancestors—Radha’s work spans genres, celebrating cultural roots from around the globe. She has collaborated with artists such as the Buena Vista Social Club, Dwight Trible, and Rihanna (2013 American Music Awards), Common and many others. A visionary producer, with the soul of an ethnomusicologist, Radha continues to inspire with her rich artistry and devotion to music as a universal language.
